Mama's Got a Brand New Bag

Room to Room is a proud sponsor of "Mama's Got A Brand New Bag".

The concept of "Mama's Got A Brand New Bag" was born out of the personal desire of two single mothers who want to make the world a better place. The organizers of the event solicit donations of new and gently used designer handbags to be auctioned or sold to the highest bidder. Some of the bags come from famous celebrities, others come from local celebrities.

Mama's Got A Brand New Bag also offers a "Pick a Purse" and "Snag a Bag" area where purses of every shape, size, color or brand can become your new treasure! These bags were donated by local ladies who cleaned out their closets and generously parted with their gently used handbags.

Empty Bowls Luncheon

Room to Room was a proud sponsor of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary "Empty Bowls Luncheon" to benefit the Salvation Army in their effort to feed the hungry. The Salvation Army of Northeast Mississippi served almost 50,000 meals to the hungry in the community.
